Shooting in Barranquilla leaves five dead and several injured

On the night of Sunday March 19 a shooting was recorded in the La Loma sector, in the Villanueva neighborhood of Barranquilla. The authorities indicated that in the event Five people died and 10 were injured.

According to local authoritiessix people arrived armed at a party and shot indiscriminately against attendees.

The attackers were on motorcycles and shot at the citizens who were at a pickup dance party. At that time, two of the people who were attacked died and the other three died in the health centers to which they were transferred.

The victims were Moisés Rafael Pacheco De La Cruz, Albeiro Enrique Guerrero, Georgina Ortiz Berrío, Dailes Mar Coronel Álvarez and Ludy Del Carmen Londoño Muñoz.

Additionally, at least 10 people were injured and received medical attention for the injuries they sustained. At the moment, the identity of the attackers is unknown.

The Metropolitan Police of Barranquillas oroffers a reward of up to $50 million for information that allows the identification and capture of those responsible for the massacre.
