Santo Domingo.- During a meeting held with representatives of the hardware sector, the presidential candidate Abel Martinez He assured that the more he listens to people throughout the national territory, the more convinced he is that the current government has let go of the Dominican people.
“This government has released the hardware store, the old people, the women, it has released people with different conditions, it has released even the perremeistas themselves who are Dominicans and who buy expensive food, many of whom are eating once a day, when before they ate three hot ones,” said Martínez.
The opposition presidential candidate Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) added that in the same situation of abandonment are the public hospitals that are not in a position to care for citizens and do not supply low-cost medicines to popular pharmacies, assuring, in addition, that they have also “let go of our borders. and our Dominicanness”.
Martínez expressed that hopelessness has taken over the youth in the neighborhoods and that parents who do not know whether to let their children eat breakfast in schools due to the poor quality of school breakfast.
“To touch all this directly, makes us work more and I tell this people, that there is a God, that there is no evil that lasts a hundred years and in this case it will not last more than four because we are going to rescue the Dominican people who are starving,” he said.

He condemned that despite the painful circumstances that the people are experiencing, “the government maintains the scam of expensive gasoline and our police officers continue to sleep on cardboard in the barracks while they pay millions of pesos in advertising, pretending that this town continues to pay attention to it.” .
“This government has also released children with special conditions in a gang and there is no way for them to put the CAID of Santo Domingo Este into operation, which they found more than 85% almost ready to operate and they have been doing nothing for two years. , denying the opportunity of therapies to more than 500 families who need to get ahead with their children” he indicated.
