More than two thousand military personnel of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) remain deployed patrolling in the state of Amazonas, with the aim of eradicating all illegal mining practices, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the troops work in environmental conservation work in the country’s natural spaces.
“#FANB deployed with more than 2,000 military personnel, patrolling the state of Amazonas in environmental conservation work and the eradication of illegal mining,” the Chief of Ceofanb posted on Twitter.
These actions are framed in compliance with territorial planning established in Venezuelan law, said Hernández Lárez.
In this sense, the troops of the FANB remain active in the parks, national monuments and forest reserves.
“#FANB deployed in parks, national monuments and forest reserves, enforcing the territorial planning established in our laws for the conservation of the environment”, said Hernández Lárez on the social network.
FANB and CSOs in city centers
On the other hand, the FANB, together with the citizen security organizations, is vigilant in “all the helmets of the cities” to control the irregular groups that intend to alter social peace.
“#FANB It is deployed in all the centers of the cities next to the #OSCguaranteeing citizen security,” he said on Twitter.
FANB committed to the defense of the territory
Given the actions of the FANB, the head of the Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, praised the work of the men and women in arms who remain active in defense of the homeland.
“Venezuela has trained and qualified men and women to guarantee national sovereignty through military defense and the maintenance of internal order through the Territorial Defensive System,” Hernández Lárez added on Twitter.
Likewise, Hernández Lárez has reiterated that the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will remain deployed in the different states of the national territory, in the fight against drug trafficking groups Tancol; gangs dedicated to illegal mining, extortion, and illegal takeovers of strategic facilities.
“Venezuela is a territory of peace, law and justice. Armed groups that threaten social peace will not be tolerated,” she emphasized.
