Radical Party leaves the reflection and declares that “we have managed to correct and ratify the position of the Government with respect to the PR”

Once the change of cabinet of President Gabriel Boric was over, not everyone was happy. In the Radical Party (PR) the annoyance was evident, even manifesting itself in reflection on the ministerial adjustment and the statements escalated to the tenor that “the end of the radical fraternity” had arrived after failing to achieve greater representation in the Executive.

However, as the weeks went by, the Radical Party managed to smooth things over with the government and the group’s helmsman, Leonardo Cubillos, went to the La Moneda Palace to meet with the interior minister, Carolina Tohá.

After the appointment, Cubillos stated that “we never said that we were going to be in or leave the Government, we always said that we were in virtue of the political signals that we had received when analyzing those signals, and of course to talk with the Government, which we complied with. , we did it”.

Complementing the previous point and to calm the waters, the leader of the PR sentenced that “we have managed to correct and ratify the position of the Government with respect to the Radical Party, which keeps us very satisfied. The lines of dialogue will of course be deepened “.
