The INE published two different calls that have now been deleted from its website

After the Association of Statistics and Census Employees denounced that the workers of the Pre Census 2023, who were hired in a recent public call, suffered changes in their working conditionsthe National Institute of Statistics reiterated that they were hired as day laborers and not permanently for a month.
As reported The Observer, in the original call, which until yesterday was published on the website and which had been published by The Observerit was mentioned that those who work as census takers they could charge up to $30 thousand nominal for a daily workload of approximately 6 hours (five and a half days a week).
The potential sum was divided into two: a fixed part of $15 thousand and another part according to the work that the person does, which is also estimated at $15,000 “for a month of hiring.”
However, the workers denounced that they were hired as day laborers and paid $100 an hour, plus some variables. That was also part of the new call from the INE.

In a statement, the INE assumes that hired them as pieceworkers and ensures that the premium of $15,000 was only paid for going to work, not fixedly, contrary to what the original call said.
For its part, it does not refer to the union’s other complaints regarding the conflict between controllers who allegedly denounced poor working conditions and were fired.
