After drawing 1-1, last week at the El Campín stadium, in Bogotá, for the first leg of the third phase of the competition, the team from Minas Gerais entered the field seeking victory to guarantee its presence in the Libertadores group stage.

In the first half, Atlético-MG even had more control of the match, with more ball possession and finalizations, but the score was opened only after the break.

Just three minutes into the second half, Hulk went from the right to the middle before lifting the ball to Paulinho, who got rid of the marking to head and open the scoring. At 35 minutes, the number 10 player used his head again to overcome goalkeeper Álvaro Montero, but this time after a ball lifted by Patrick.

However, the most beautiful goal was left for the end. In the 42nd minute, Paulinho took on the role of a waiter to cross the ball for Hulk to hit it first, on a bicycle, to score the last of the Rooster in the match. At 47 minutes Uribe took advantage of Otávio’s failure to score Millonarios’ honor, but nothing that diminished the joy of Atlético-MG fans for qualifying for the Libertadores group stage.
