“Commander Hugo Chávez must be planted in each barracks, in each classroom, in each patio, in each ship, and plane of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), to understand that the path is the liberation of the homeland before foreign aggressions”, stressed the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, at the beginning of the act of Transfer of the Saber of the Cadet.
From the Military Superior Training Center of Venezuela, Padrino López ratified the commitment of the military family with that man named Hugo Chávez, who with courage and firmness, defended the homeland and had the vision of a new multipolar world.
“We ratify the military family’s commitment to Chávez, we have a commitment to an independent homeland that does not allow itself to be run over by the global world. Chávez lives and walks among us, ”he stressed at the beginning of the act held this Wednesday to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the transfer of the mortal remains of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez to the Cuartel de la Montaña.
He stressed that the country continues its fight for sovereignty and independence, with the legacy of Chávez more present than ever, and under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in a civic-military union.

The Defense Minister explained that Commander Hugo Chávez, “a man of great victories, knew how to understand the multipolar world and seek alliances and oppose himself against imperialist hegemonism.”

Transfer
The transfer of the Saber of the Cadet of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez is carried out from the Military Academy of Venezuela to the 4F Mountain Barracks.
The symbolic act was headed by the Defense Minister, Vladimir Padrino López; the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello; the mayoress of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, among other authorities of the national Executive.
The route of the saber has a 9.7-kilometer caravan led by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and Minister Vladimir Padrino López, and it will arrive at the Cuartel de la Montaña, where it will arrive in the hands of Ensign Miguel Ángel García.
With this symbolic act, a cycle of commemorative activities for the first 10 years of the planting of Commander Hugo Chávez closes, in which intellectuals, politicians and personalities from around the world and the nation participated.
