The Sullana Specialized Prosecutor for Corruption Crimes began preliminary proceedings against the former mayor of Bellavista, Hildebrando Crisanto Vilela, together with six other officials and others who are responsible as alleged perpetrators against the public administration in the form of embezzlement, criminal gang and other crimes.
Provincial prosecutor Luis Ramos Rioja, who is in charge of the proceedings for 60 days, was the one who decided to summon ex-burgomaster Crisanto to testify on March 30, at noon. Some officials will also declare that same day, and the others the next day at different times.
This, after the complaint by the public prosecutor of the Municipality of Bellavista, Bladimir Ojeda Núñez, who denounced the former mayor Crisanto, as well as the officials Paulo Sócola Antón, Carlos Enrique Benites Colán, José Luis Ramírez Monje, Cristian Alburque Palacios, Luis Miguel Portugues Castillo, Alex Adrián Luzardo Martínez and those who are responsible in this regard.

All of them are accused of being alleged perpetrators against the public administration in the form of embezzlement, omission, refusal and delay of functional acts, criminal gang and against public faith in the form of generic falsehood to the detriment of the Peruvian State.
The complaint indicates that Hildebrando Crisanto, as the owner of the document, had full knowledge of the real income of the building entity, as well as changes that were made in the SIAF system, amounts transferred and use of resources. Likewise, his former employees would have manipulated the systems assigned by the Ministry of Economy in the SIAF, giving it a totally different twist from the one that is budgeted by law, among other alleged crimes that will be investigated.
