The Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruíz, reported that certificates were delivered to the people who were part of the Women’s Rights and Gender Equity Diploma, regarding the month of women, in order to promote human rights.

“Five years ago the character of the National School of Human Rights was recognized, more than 50,000 people have been trained, the majority are women, it has a fundamentally feminist character, we are delivering all the certificates of the people who were trained in Caracas in Women’s Rights and Gender Equity but also to those who were trained to accompany Humanized Childbirth”, he pointed out.

He indicated that the delivery of certificates was carried out in conjunction with the rectory of the Ministry of Popular Power for Women that from the Feminist School of the South, form the feminist councils “that is, the defenders of women in each of the communities ”.

In this sense, the ombudsman stressed that efforts must be joined to accompany all the people who remain in the fight for the eradication of violence against women.
