Survey: 54% of those believe that the country's situation is good, 40% believe that it is bad

54% of Uruguayans believe that the current situation of the country is very good or good, while 40% think it is bad or very bad, according to a new survey by the consulting firm Factumpresented this Tuesday on VTV News.

In total, 6% consider that it is very good, 48% consider that it is good; 6% that the situation is more or less while 26% that it is bad and 14% that it is very bad. In turn, 6% think that it is neither good nor bad.

If there is discrimination between those who voted for the Broad Front in 2019 and those who voted for the multicolored coalition, opinions diverge. Among those who voted for the Broad Front, 73% consider that the situation is bad or very bad, 6% consider that it is neither good nor bad, while 22% consider that it is good or very good.

Among those who voted for the multicolored coalition, 78% believe that it is good or very good, 6% that it is neither good nor bad, and 16% think that it is bad or very bad.

“They are different visions that are crossed by what was the vote in the previous election,” the director of Factum, Eduardo Botinelli, said in the presentation.

In the last survey, carried out in the fourth quarter of 2022, it indicated that 45% considered that the situation was good or very good, while 46% considered that it was bad or very bad. This survey shows that the trend was reversed and a favorable growth in the positive opinions of the current situation.

The survey was carried out between February 11 and 20 to 1,000 people online and by telephone.
