The Permanent Commission approved with 24 votes in favor, two against, and one abstention, the accusation against former Prime Minister Betssy Chávez for her role during the coup d’état by former President Pedro Castillo. They also included former ministers Roberto Sánchez and Willy Huerta.

The indictment includes the alleged crimes of rebellion and conspiracy. They also point to Chávez as co-author of the coup perpetrated on December 7th.
