Throughout the country, the amount to be deposited by Caixa Econômica Federal corresponds to approximately 3.5 million benefit installments.

In order to have access to the values of the salary bonus, the worker of a private company needs to be enrolled in the Social Integration Program (PIS) and those of public companies, in the Program for the Formation of the Assets of Public Servants (Pasep), for at least five years.
The salary bonus is guaranteed to workers who received, on average, up to two minimum wages of monthly remuneration and who have carried out paid activity for at least 30 days, in 2021. Another requirement is that the workers’ data have been correctly informed by the employer ( legal entity), in the Annual List of Social Information (Rais).
The 2023 Salary Allowance (base year 2021) is equivalent to a maximum of one minimum wage. Payment for each worker varies according to the number of days worked in 2021. The benefit calculation corresponds to the number of months worked multiplied by one-twelfth of the current minimum wage.
The amount can be withdrawn until December 28, 2023. After this period, the funds not withdrawn return to the federal government.

Payment options
Public sector workers receive the benefit from Banco do Brasil. Those in the private sector, by Caixa Econômica Federal.
Caixa account holders who have savings at the institution will automatically receive the credit in their bank account. The other beneficiaries will receive the amounts through Poupança Social Digital for those who have the Caixa Tem application.
The Digital Social Savings allows you to pay bills, make money transfers and make purchases with the virtual debit card.
Withdrawals can also be carried out with the Social Card and password at self-service terminals, lottery units, Caixa Aqui correspondents or at bank branches, with the presentation of an official identification document.
