More than 4 million redeem R$ 274.7 million in forgotten values

IGP-M registers 0.97% deflation in October

In the first seven days of withdrawals after the reopening of the Values Receivable System (SVR), around 4.1 million people requested the redemption of R$ 274.7 million, the Central Bank (BC) informed a little while ago. The balance covers orders placed from the last 7th, at 10am, to 5pm on Monday (13th).

This count considers only effective withdrawal requests. In recent days, the BC was also disclosing the amount of logins (accesses), which considered multiple entries into the system by the same individual.

According to BC, the highest amount redeemed by an individual on Monday corresponded to R$ 274.1 thousand. As for legal entities, the highest amount redeemed reached R$5,800. Since the beginning of the program, the biggest individual redemption took place on Wednesday (8), when an individual withdrew R$ 749.5 thousand forgotten.

The number of people who have requested the redemption of deceased persons since the beginning of the program adds up to 1.2 million. Only this Friday, 25.3 thousand heirs or testamentary withdrew amounts.

As in recent days, there was no virtual queue this Monday. Last Tuesday (7), the first day of withdrawals, the average wait in the virtual queue reached two hours during the morning. Throughout the afternoon, the waiting time was rapidly reduced until it was reset around 5:15 pm on the same day, according to BC.

According to the monetary authority, the SVR will remain open to everyone, without scheduled interruptions, so that everyone can recover the amounts forgotten in the financial system.More than 4 million redeem R$ 274.7 million in forgotten values

reopening

With the possibility of verifying the values of deceased persons, the SVR was reopened on the 7th, after being closed for 11 months. Users can schedule the receipt of resources in the site Receivables.

To the consultations were reopened on February 28. According to the BC’s most recent balance sheet, until this Sunday (12), 101.6 million queries had been made. Of this total, 46.4 million (46%) indicated amounts receivable and 55.1 million (54%) did not find forgotten amounts.

According to BC, around 38 million individuals and 2 million legal entities have around R$ 6 billion to receive. To withdraw amounts from individuals or deceased persons, the user must have a silver or gold level account on the Gov.br Portal. To recover amounts from a legal entity, you need to have an account on the Gov.br Portal with the National Legal Entity Register with any type of bond, except that of a collaborator.

The system has important innovations, such as screen printing and request protocols for sharing on WhatsApp and the inclusion of all types of values provided for in the SVR standard. There is also a virtual waiting room, which allows all users to make the appointment on the same day, without the need for a schedule by year of birth or foundation of the company.

In addition to these improvements, there is the possibility of consulting the values of the deceased person, with access to heirs, executors, executors or legal representatives. As with queries for living people, the system informs the institution responsible for the amount and the amount range. There is also more transparency for those who have a joint account. If one of the holders requests the redemption of a forgotten value, the other, when entering the system, will be able to see the information: such as value, date and CPF of the person who made the request.
