Social organizations mobilize for "a Judiciary that respects the memory"

Unions of the CGT and the CTA, human rights organizations and social and political organizations mobilize this Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in front of the Palace of Courts, on the third day of assemblies under the slogan “For a Judiciary that respects memory, seeks the truth and guarantees justice.”

The call “Let’s talk about Human Rights” is part of the series of meetings “Democracy without judicial mafia. Argentina without proscription” that has been taking place in Plaza Lavalle for two weeks now, on Tuesdays.

On this occasion it will be demanded by “a Judiciary that respects memory, seeks the truth and guarantees justice”they reported in a statement.

The referent of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Founding Line, Taty Almeida; the restored grandson, Guillermo Perez Roisinblit; the journalist, writer and lawyer specializing in Human Rights, Pablo Llonto, among others.

Also attending will be Coco Garfagnini, a member of the Committee for the Freedom of Milagro Sala; Jerónimo Guerrero Iraola, member of the Malvinas Islands Ex-Combatants Center (CECIM); Eugenia Vázquez, member of Relatives of Victims of Institutional Violence; Iris Avellaneda, from the Argentine League for Human Rights; Zulema Chester, from the El Chalet Space for Memory and a member of the CABA-ODH Human Rights Observatory, Amalia Marrón.

The event will be accompanied by artistic and musical interventions by La Chilinga and Gabriel Torres.

The concentration will be this Tuesday, March 14, at 4:00 p.m. in Plaza Lavalle, in front of the Buenos Aires Courts of Talcahuano at 500, because it is when the Supreme Court of Justice, which has its headquarters on the fourth floor of the Palace, meets.

In addition, on Tuesdays it usually issues its agreements or rulings, in which it “decides on what affects us or leaves aside what matters to us,” they pointed out.
