Two members of the criminal organization Tren del Llano were killed in Barinas in the heat of an armed confrontation, according to military sources.
The subjects possessed an AR-15 rifle and 133 cartridges, among other war materials, according to a report from the Rural Commando Detachment 33-1 of the Bolivarian National Guard to which we had access.
The confrontation occurred in the Salsipuedes sector, Arismendi municipality, Barinas, where the two members of the Tren del Llano group, yet to be identified, were killed.
Three members of that organization were also arrested: Juan Evangelista Mejías Flores, Juan José Valdez Toledo and Ramón Alexander Valdez Maluenga, whose criminal actions materialize in murders, extortion and rustling, “generating a state of anxiety among the residents and agricultural producers of the area “, according to the report.
At the scene of the event, the military seized two rifles: an M16 Match Target and another AR-15. In addition, they seized 122 5.56mm caliber cartridges, five 7.65×51 caliber cartridges, forty-six 7.65×51mm caliber light automatic rifle (FAL) cartridges percussed, and 31 percussed 5.56mm caliber cartridges.
The seized material also included 3 FAL magazines, two AR-15 magazines, four M16 rifle magazines, a fragmentary grenade, three telephones, and a Toyota Hilux truck without a license plate.
Another military action against the Tren del Llano was carried out by agents attached to Detachment 342 of the GNB in the Perico sector, San Jerónimo de Guayabal municipality, Guárico’s border with Apure.
Two members of the criminal group identified as Brayan José Martínez Navarro and Daniel David Chaumer Castillo were detained there.
These people seized 17 7.62×39 mm cartridges, three telephone sets, and a Bera motorcycle, model BR-150, black, license plate AE5L95E.
