The province of Chepén, in the region Freedom, endured heavy rains yesterday and they even reported that they saw lightning and heard thunder that caused great fear among the residents. In the provinces of Otuzco and Bolívar, in the Sierra Liberteña, high intensity rainfall was also recorded.

Fear
The intense rain began to fall during the afternoon and lasted for hours, which caused the streets to become rivers.
Because this coastal city, like many others, is not prepared to withstand rains of this magnitude, in a matter of minutes the main roads in the center of chepen they were under water.
The drivers of the vehicles and the people who were walking were surprised and had to follow their march very carefully to avoid accidents.

Mountain range
In it town center of samne that belongs to Otuzco province, floods were registered due to the permanent rains that are registered. Villagers ask for help Regional Government of La Libertad and the Central Government. The same has been happening in the Salpo district. The rains have flooded the health post and many houses.

bolivar affected
In the province of Bolívar, the rains originated early today, landslides on the highway that runs from the Unamen-Bolívar section. Several vehicles were trapped and the passengers had to be helped by personnel from the Provincial Municipality of Bolívar.
