PRSC celebrates its first regional meeting

Dozens of leaders of the Christian Social Reformist Party (PRSC), participated this Saturday in the first regional meeting with a view to the celebration of the VI Joaquín Balaguer Congress, where the mobilization of its machinery throughout the national territory was announced as part of a strategy for growth and strengthening of that organization politics.

The main authorities of PRSC They explained that in this process they will focus on giving participation to young people and women from different sectors of society who identify with the approaches on the issues raised and defended by that party.

The president of PRSCFederico Antún Batlle (Quique), and the general secretary, Ramón Rogelio Genao, said that this organization makes its party platform or structure available to citizens who want to make politics in favor of the interests of the Dominican people.

The event was also led by the organization’s first vice president, deputy Máximo Castro Silverio; and the also deputies Pedro Botello and Rafaela Alburquerque, as well as the mayor of La Romana, Tony Adames; Tácito Perdomo, Frank Martínez, Juancho Martínez, Eddy Antonio Germán and dozens of leaders from El Seibo, La Altagracia, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor and La Romana.

Former deputy sworn in

Within the framework of the regional forum, the secretary general of the PRSC and senator for La Vega, Ramón Rogelio Genao, swore in former deputy Néstor Muñoz, who promised to work actively in favor of strengthening the entity politics founded by former president Joaquín Balaguer.

“I congratulate you for having made the decision to swear in the Reformist Party, because together we are going to relaunch this party to turn it into a force politics important for the 2024 elections,” Genao said.

The leader took advantage of the occasion to make a call to the government, to the politics and the business community so that Dominicans who live abroad are given a better and greater space in public policies, “which should be included in the housing, study, economic orientation and other plans.”
