The Ministry of Health registered this Saturday 1,857 new cases of Covid-19 and 27 deaths due to the virus, throughout the country. According to the report, the largest number of infections were registered in the department of La Paz, with 658 positives.
The covid report indicates that after La Paz, Cochabamba registered the highest figure at the level, with 428 infections; Holy Cross, 416; Potosi, 142; Oruro, 74; Chuquisaca, 66; Tarija, 37; Beni, 25; Panda, 11.

With these 1,857 infections, Bolivia adds a cumulative 871,749 cases reported nationwide. This day 4,456 people recovered from the virus, for a total of 720,322. Meanwhile, active cases amount to 130,298.
With the 27 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the country has totaled 21,129 deaths since the start of the pandemic. The fatality rate remains at 0.6%.
