“Chocolate” was charged with attempted murder.
The young woman attacked her ex-partner from behind, stabbing him. This caused him a serious injury that almost cost him his life.
Prosecutor Edgar Benítez, from the Minga Porá Zonal Unit, filed an accusation against Viviani Flores Segovia (24), aka “Chocolate”, After making an attempt against the life of his ex-partner, he also requested the elevation of the case to an oral and public trial.
She is being held in prison and faces charges for finished attempt of intentional homicide. The conclusive requirement was presented before the Itakyry Criminal Court.

According to the records, the event occurred on May 31, 2022 on public roads from the Santo Domingo neighborhood of the Itakyry district, the citizen Mario Saucedo Frutos (35) was a victim.
On the occasion, “Chocolate” attacked her boyfriend from behind, who was in the company of some friends. She applied a stab in the backwound that almost caused his death.
Mario Saucedo was transferred to the Itakyry Health Post. As a result of the severity of injury had to be referred to the Ciudad del Este Medical Emergency Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Doctors even had to remove one of his kidneys as a result of a “Closed abdominal trauma due to a stab wound, with grade IV kidney injury”.

After recovering, Saucedo Frutos made a statement at the Public Prosecutor’s Office and stated that he had maintained an unstable relationship with the woman, but that he cut the link precisely because he was supposedly very violent.
He also mentioned that on one occasion, the young man even burned down his house that he had in the Kapi’i colony, as a result of jealousy, and also threatened him that someday he would kill him.
