Civil construction inflation drops to 0.08% in February, says IBGE

Construction inflation is 0.73% in March

The National Civil Construction Index (Sinapi) recorded inflation of 0.08% in February this year. The rate was below those observed in January of this year (0.31%) and February 2021 (0.56%).Civil construction inflation drops to 0.08% in February, says IBGE

According to data released today (10) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Sinapi accumulated in 12 months reached 9.92%, below the 10.45% accumulated until January.

With the February inflation, the national construction cost per square meter reached R$ 1,685.74.

The share of materials had a price increase of 0.10% in the month and started to cost R$ 1,001.94 per square meter. The cost of labor rose 0.04% to R$ 683.80.
