The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, celebrated this Friday the good financial and production results of YPF and maintained that its potential contributes to the objective of the country reaching a production capacity of 1 million barrels of oil and 170 million cubic meters of gas, which will result in exponential export growth.
Speaking at the New York Stock Exchange at a celebration event after the national company’s 30th year of listing on that market, Massa also ratified the decision of the Government of promote a bill to encourage investments in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
Massa announced that at the next YPF Shareholders’ Meeting the national State will propose to resume the “distribution of dividends” to consolidate the company in the financial system in order to continue recovering its productive and financial results.
