Labor and pension reform: discussion commission is installed on Monday

The next On March 16, the labor and pension reform will be filed before the Congress of the Republic. For now, trade unions, unions and the Government are finalizing the details of the projects.

Along with this, they announced that the permanent commission that will discuss the proposals will be installed next Monday, March 13. The Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez, has held bilateral meetings with labor unions and production unions to review point by point and adjust some details of the proposals regarding the labor and pension world.

For his part, Fabio Arias, general secretary of the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores, CUT, affirmed that the labor and pension reforms are being built in a historic way in the midst of true social dialogue.

The pensioners’ confederations, for their part, hope that the reforms respond to the needs to promote labor formalization.

It should be remembered that the subcommittees where the reforms have been discussed were installed at the initiative of the government of change from on October 24, 2022.
