President Gabriel Boric referred to the criticism he received after regretting the decision made by the opposition to reject the idea of legislating the Government’s tax reform project, the same situation that the President experienced when he was a deputy, when he declined the same project but from the administration of Sebastián Piñera.
After the position he had when he was a deputy for the Magallanes region was shared, the head of state stated that “I have learned to evaluate many things regarding the votes that I had while I was a parliamentarian.”

“For example, during the government of President Bachelet, I had some differences regarding the nature of the reform, but I understood that a reform had to be made, and that is what I would have expected us to discuss yesterday,” the President said.
