Before entering, the leaders assured that any agreement reached with the national government would be agreed upon with the bases.
The urban masters of Santa Cruz took to the streets in support of their colleagues who were repressed by the Police in their demonstrations in La Paz, and demanded that the central government attend to their demands.
Nearly 2,000 teachers left the headquarters of the Federation of Teachers, located on La Paz street, between Ñuflo de Chávez and Ballivián, and went to the Departmental Education Directorate (DDE), where they they kept a peaceful vigil until 18:00.
Lorenzo Chávez, representing the urban teachers from Santa Cruz, indicated that if the Government does not provide a solution to the demands, the mobilizations would be reactivated on Monday.
