The Dominican Association of Home Builders and Developers (Acoprovi) swore in its new Board of Directors for the period 2023-2024, in which it will strengthen the leadership of women in the construction sector, by selecting Annerys Melendez as president of said association.
Meléndez is the youngest president elected so far.
In his swearing-in speech, he stressed that they will continue to strengthen Acoprovi’s positioning and incidence in all areas of society, with the firm purpose of promote the growth of the sector and the Dominican Republic.
“It is a priority to agree on proposals for a regulatory framework that promotes the development and efficiency of our sector, that fosters competitiveness, innovation and sustainability of construction and urban development,” he concluded.
