Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, exceeded air pollution limits againand some 200,000 people across the country were hospitalized this week for respiratory problems, health authorities reported.

More than 1.3 million people have been sick in the kingdom so far this year due to air pollution, the Ministry of Public Health said on Wednesday night, according to the AFP news agency.

The Ministry of Health asked the inhabitants of the metropolis to use N95 masks (equivalent to FFP2) when traveling on public roads.
