The lawyer and former Secretary of Government of the Santa Cruz Governorate, Vladimir Peña, affirmed that there is a widespread political crisis in Santa Cruz originated by the Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) with the arrest of Governor Luis Fernando Camacho.

In addition to this crisis, he points out that the “incapacity” of the Creemos political store of not finding an answer for the situation that the departmental entity is going through.

He believed that the project Department of Regulation of the Temporary Absence and Definitive Impediment of the Governor of the Department of Santa Cruz, approved by the Departmental Legislative Assembly (ALD) shields the position of Camacho and the multisectarian political interests “above the common interest of citizens”, to have a Government that carries out management.

“In practice, what there is is a symbolic governor issuing letters and signing papers, an unknown frozen lieutenant governor with this law, and a governor who in practice is Mr. Erik Morón”, Peña said in an interview with EL DEBER.

He said that the disagreement between Camacho and the lieutenant governor Mario Aguilera led to such an extreme, in which he assures that the departmental management fell outside the institutional margin with a person who is exercising, in practice, based on “companionship”.

Peña justified his statements by mentioning that who should have a leading and decisive role in the face of the imprisonment of Luis Fernando Camacho is Lieutenant Governor Aguilerasince he is the only person who has democratic legitimacy.

denounced that Senator Morón spends more time at the Government facilities directing the meetings than in the same Legislative Assembly, according to the “vox populi of the same officials”.

“According to the same officials, the one who gives orders in the Governor’s Office is Mr. Morón. A week ago the senator boasted of a letter that Mr. Camacho sent him, I think these signs are unequivocal, ”he accused.

Finally, he recalled the statements of the Governor’s Management adviser, Efraín Suárez, regarding because Camacho does not trust Aguilera. He said that in the last meeting of Creemos, the lieutenant governor was not invited, which generated another sign of division.

EL DEBER tried to communicate with Senator Erik Morón to obtain a response to Peña’s complaints, however, he did not respond to the call.

His communicator, Marlene Callejas, said that the legislator had a day full of meetings and that another person was in charge of responding.
