From the Tarapacá region, President Gabriel Boric referred to the severe setback suffered by his Government after the rejection of the tax reform project in the Chamber of Deputies. Although at times he was frustrated, he sent a special message to all those parliamentarians who refused the measure or left the Chamber to avoid casting their respective votes.

In this sense, the President indicated that “when we begin to emerge from a long crisis, there is a sector that tries to make things not change, to leave things as they are. It seems that we do not learn from the things of the past.”
