The Ministry of Health, Chiriquí region reports that on the morning of this Wednesday, March 8, the facilities of the Policentro de La Barriada San José in David, Chiriquí, were presented to a father with a newborn baby (8 days old) who allegedly kept some health problems, for which she was immediately captured by the medical team of the place to proceed with the care.
Once the minor is checked, the doctor detects that the creature was without vital signs, for which a report is filed and the case is transferred to the authorities of the Public Ministry who carry out the investigations and seek to establish the Causes of death.
Gladys Novoa, regional health director, explained that even when immediate care was carried out, the little girl already had obvious signs of death, so the rigorous procedures were followed and in accordance with what corresponds in these cases.
