The Secretariat of Mobility of Bogotá will hold the first auction of used or abandoned vehicles in the year. In the courtyards of Districtaccording to figures from the entity, there are more than 400 cars of these characteristics, whose prices range between 45 and 300 million pesos.
This is possible thanks to the Law 1730 of 2014which “authorizes the transit agency to declare the abandonment of the immobilized vehicle through an administrative act”. This auction will take place until March 10.

The Ministry of Mobility has the objective of this activity “to contribute to the improvement of the environment”. Through this initiative, More than 4,000 abandoned vehicles have been auctioned for scrap since 2018.
Regarding the reasons for carrying out the auction, the main one is the abandonment of the vehicles, which can be up to a year in many cases.

The due process to agree to acquire one is:

– Validate the registration in the ‘login’ in order to make the offers.
– To finish, read and accept the ‘Procedure for use of the Superbid Colombia portal’, clicking on ‘Confirm’, sending a photocopy of your citizenship card and the Single Transit Registry (RUT). 24 hours later you will receive confirmation of registration.

The person who is already registered on the Superbid platform, must be enabled in each of the auctions, accepting the terms and conditions. To do this, you must:
