About the last point, Jorge Iliu, director of Dinavisasaid in an interview with 650 AM radio that as a result of the television program, he received complaints from the Chambers of Medical and Dental Devices against certain dental franchises that bring products, supplies and equipment irregularly.
“I went to my control unit to do the intelligence work with the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police to carry out the raids,” he said, recalling that several procedures were carried out in the past that ended with seized medical-dental devices.
The director of Dinavisa also called for professionals not to use these products without registration.
“Smuggling is the order of the day. The companies that make the arrangements include electronic devices or other items in the Sofia Customs system for the uncontrolled direct entry of Dinavisa”, the headline deepened.
Iliu presented the case of a dental university that five years ago was intervened because was marketing products without sanitary registration.
“It is absolutely the responsibility of the professionals. They must acquire the products from places authorized by DINAVISA. Medicines are regulated, but medical devices do not have price regulation. They are set by the free market ”, he finally indicated, reiterating the call made to dentists.
