General reached the tie in the first bars of the second half through a ball fought by Clementino González that the central defender Gastón García holed into his own goal (48′).

Troadio Duarte’s team did not take their foot off the accelerator and Derlis Martínez, who displayed speed, mastery and aim, turned the score around with a furious shot that broke Carlos Servín’s goal (68′).
