The Autonomous CTA This Tuesday a massive mobilization is being carried out in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Social Development, as part of the fight plan that they decided to implement against inflation.
The Union announced their protest through a press release in which they stated that they will defend the popular sectors, in the face of the aggravating economic crisis that the country is experiencing, which is why the Autonomous CTA calls for “urgent measures”.
In this way, the measure of force implemented by the Autonomous CTA it also seeks to denounce the business sector “for its responsibility in inflation and price speculation.”
“Price makers in Argentina continue to be mainly transnational companies that do not even comply with the agreements they sign with the Government”Hugo “Cachorro” Godoy, head of the organization, remarked at a press conference.
In this sense, the leader warned that the popular sectors are in “a desperate state”, since, “in the face of growing inflation, wages are deteriorating and precarious and retired workers are in a critical situation.”
With the measure of force, the union also demands “the immediate convening of the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Wage Council, rejecting the salary cap that the national government is trying to impose in joint negotiations and reiterating the claim for the recognition of union organizations that They are waiting for their union registration.
In addition to “denounce cuts in social policies and reiterate the claim for the implementation of a Universal Salary, among other claims.” Thus, they seek that “the National Government take the urgent measures that workers and workers need. Today the minimum wage is not even enough to eat”.
Where will the rallies be?
The organizations They will gather this Tuesday in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Social Development, on Avenida 9 de Julio and Moreno, in the City of Buenos Aires, so there will be cuts in the surrounding streets.
In addition, there will be a march to the Ministry of Economy, where the main act of the protest will take place “to denounce the current economic policy that is carried out under the parameters of the IMF and to ask for a change of course.”
