First drill 2023: when is it and how to participate?

How to prepare?

The population in general is invited to participate in the first national drill and for this can be organized with the family nucleus, neighborhood committees, voluntary groups and civil society organizations. The call also includes representatives of the private and social sectors, the media, and research, education, and technological development centers.

The federal government announces 10 points to consider to participate in this first national drill. If you want to see them all, click on the following link: http://www.preparados.gob.mx/10-simulacronacional

One of the most important points is planning, for which before carrying out your Simulation you must take into account the identification of risks of the property, as well as:

a) Make a plan to know what to do.

b) Simulate emergency situations.

c) Assign responsibilities to each person.

d) Have on hand the telephone directory, first aid kit and important documents.

e) Identify safety zones, emergency exits and meeting points.
