Due to the progress of the works on transmilenio along 68 avenue, a section of the road will be closed as of this Monday, March 6. The closure will last 18 months, since this construction will also be the future feeder track for the metro.

According to the IDU, the eastern side of Avenida 68 between streets 12A and 24, reason for which the entity will carry out a series of detours for drivers who regularly travel on this road.
“On the same 68 the public transport buses will remain circulating, the bus stops will remain, the bicycle lane that we have today and the pedestrian path will also remain circulating,” assured Diego Sánchez Fonseca, director of the IDU.
Avenida 68 south-north direction
If you move south-north along Avenida 68, you should take 10th Street to the east with Carrera 65 B to the north, 11th Street with Carrera 65, 17th Street with Carrera 56, 22nd Street to the west with Carrera 60 and 24th street avenue to retake 68th avenue to the north.
One-way streets
For its part, Carrera 66, between streets 13 and 16, will have a single south-north direction and Calle 16 between carreras 66 and 65 B will have a single west-east direction.

In addition, Calle 11 between carreras 65 B and 65 will have a single west-east direction, so Vehicles traveling on this street to the east to enter the area must continue to calle 9A to the east with carrera 67 to the north.

How is the public transport?
Public transport will continue to operate on Avenida 68 with provisional stops in a south-north direction on the road. The road will also have a safe provisional pedestrian path and bicycle path throughout the corridor.
