A total of three camps built by irregular groups were detected and destroyed in Guárico, Miranda and Sucre, according to military sources.

One of the camps was located in the Guarapiche Forest Reserve, Gûiria, Sucre state and was presumably built by the Tancol groups (Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers). The other two camps designed by criminal organizations were located in the Guatopo National Park, which were approached by agents attached to the Rural Commando Detachment 34-1 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).

The structures included five sentry boxes or observation points and 20 huts, which are kinds of houses where the members of the criminal organization Oscar de Jesús del Llano, a cell derived from the Tren del Llano, temporarily lived.

The camps with their entire structure were located in the Peña de Mota, Botalón, Orocoyal, La Gallera, El Banco de Guanape, Naranjal, Caramacate, Guatopito (Quebrada de Guatopo) sectors that are located in the Guatopo National Park, between the Guárico states. and Miranda.

After being located, the military proceeded to seize 95 7.62×39 mm caliber cartridges that fit in rifles; 15 5.56 mm caliber cartridges, six rifle magazines, three motorcycles without license plates, three tactical helmets, 17 radio transmitters, 6 chargers for radio transmitters, 3 drone cameras, 1 drone case, 3 tactical vests and military clothing.

In those spaces, a corpse was also located, which was lifted by Cicpc agents and transferred to the forensic medicine of Altagracia de Orituco where they need his identity, said the source.

In Guárico, the military authorities continue to seize cartridges of various calibers, whose traffic experienced a jump since the second week of January, judging by the procedures carried out in different places of the llanera entity.

At the Citizen Service Point located in El Sombrero (Guárico), members of Detachment 341 of the Bolivarian National Guard seized 8 boxes of 12-gauge cartridges, of twenty-five units each, for a total of two hundred and twenty boxes of 16-gauge cartridges , of twenty-five units each, for a total of five hundred.

The war materiel was transported in a burgundy Daihatsu Terios, license plate JAR67F, whose driver Andry Israel Pérez Martínez was captured. This person was traveling from Maracay (Aragua) and was heading to the town of El Socorro (Guárico).
