They arrested six people who murdered a man with fire

The Cicpc reported the capture of two women and four men who allegedly murdered Julio Antonio Romero Lira (59) by beating and burning.

This homicide occurred in the Villa Victoria sector, 2nd street, San Simón parish, Maturín, Monagas state.

The subjects subdued the victim and beat him with objects all over his body. They then doused him with gasoline and set him on fire to death.

The entire violent act was recorded with a cell phone by a 14-year-old teenager. The cell phone was seized by police officers. cicpc at the time of arresting the minor.

The other detainees are: José Gregorio Aníbal Díaz (20), Cesar Adrián Hernández Hernández (22), Yosmar Gabriel Chacón Brito (24), Yimmi José Urrieta Rodríguez (43) and Zurima Thais Rodríguez Lunar (31).

These people were handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution.
