Transport stations in SP will have programming for Women's Day

In the Subway, on Tuesday (7), Santana Station will be the stage for the exhibition Viver é Die, with 48 images by artist Silvia Husek, which invites reflection on aging and the invisibility of women over 50 years of age.

On Wednesday, at Brás do Metrô Station, there will be a conversation between railway workers and elementary and high school students to talk about professions. The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) will take the Discover Yourself action to Tatuapé Station, which will address topics such as emotional intelligence and female empowerment in business. And at the EMTU Metropolitan Terminal, passengers will have a sewing workshop and guidance on entrepreneurship available.

Also on Wednesday, at República Station, there will be an action organized by the Restructuring Center for Life, which will promote dialogue on unexpected pregnancy, violence and abuse against women, among other issues discussed by the institution.

To reinforce the fight against sexual harassment, the female Metro agents will enter the cars to show that any woman can count on their help in case of harassment. In addition, the action will publicize the X in the hand, a worldwide campaign that guides women to signal that they are in danger.

CPTM promotes the presentation of Banda 710, formed by drivers of lines 7-Rubi, 10-Turquoise and 11-Coral, at Barra Funda Station. At Jardim Helena-Vila Mara Station, the company inaugurates another Espaço Acolher to assist women who suffer sexual harassment.

On Thursday (9), the Santa Cecília Subway Station will have a movie session, in partnership with the International Academy of Cinema, for the exhibition of short films that support initiatives focused on the therapeutic treatment of women prisoners.

On Wednesday (22), a group of graffiti artists, made up of Brazilian women and refugees, will revitalize CPTM’s Jardim Romano Station, in partnership with the artist Ziza, the Immigrant Integration and Citizenship Center and the Culture.
