Santo Domingo.-The Police reported this Saturday that he is under arrest Francisco Javier Sepulveda Reyesdesignated as responsible for causing the death by gunshot wounds to two officers of the Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD), during an incident recorded in a center for the sale of alcoholic beverages in the Los Guaricanos sector, in Santo Domingo Norte on Friday night .
The institution specified that Sepúlveda Reyes turned himself in to the authorities hours after killing the second lieutenant Jose Angel Roman Disla and to the sergeant major Danilo Antonio Aquino Gomez.
“After committing the double crime Francisco Javier Sepúlveda Reyes, he went before the authorities to make himself available to justice,” the police note states.

The preliminary report establishes that the incident occurred when the officers, who were dressed as civilians, were drinking alcoholic beverages in the Chepe Super Fría grocery store, on the main street of the Jamaica sector, in Los Guaricanos, and they complained to Sepúlveda Reyes for drawing and handling a firearm at the scene.
It was under these circumstances that a fight broke out between Sergeant Major Aquino Gómez and Sepúlveda Reyes, where the latter fired a shot, and when he fell to the ground, Second Lieutenant Román Disla tried to lift him up, also receiving a shot from the assailant, who fled the place.
The Police added that “agents from the Criminal Investigations Directorate arrested several people for investigative purposes and collected other evidence in the shopping center.”
He added that “we regret the events that occurred in Los Guaricanos, in the Santo Domingo Norte municipality, and we express our condolences and solidarity with the relatives of the two members of the Army of the Dominican Republic,” the Police pointed out.
“The alleged attacker was handed over with the firearm to the Public Ministry so that the corresponding sanctions for the death of the two members of the Army can be imposed,” he said.
“The civilian is already detained, now it is up to justice to play its role,” he said.
