The National Director of the Scientific Police, General Commissioner Fabio Quevedo will be the new Police Chief of Colonia.
The announcement was made to the Colonian media by Deputy Mario Colman (PN).
Quevedo was appointed by the Minister of the Interior, Luis A. Heber.
On March 1, Jhonny Diego, who was the chief in Colonia, took over the position of deputy national director of police. He took over Commissioner Daniel Carro on an interim basis and will be in charge of the Colonial Headquarters until Quevedo enters in the next few days.
With those who were Chiefs of Police in previous periods, Adán Cuello and Rober Iroa, as the one who was until February 28, 2023, Jhonny Diego, EL ECO maintained a very good relationship, with the responsibility that the position implied for them and for us journalistic task.
