On the afternoon of this Friday, March 3, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 was reported 18 kilometers southeast of La Fría, in the state of Táchira, the Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (Funvisis) reported through its Twitter account.
According to the institution, the telluric movement was perceived at 4:10 in the afternoon.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10.8 km.

Until after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, authorities of the entity Andina did not report damage or victims due to the earthquake.
