At the end of February, in an interview with the Mexican Jessie Cervantes, Karol G announced that he would leave the stage, that he would take a break.

“This year I will not be so much on stage because I decided to take myself as a break from the scenarios to be able to studyto be able to evolve in other aspects,” said the Colombian, known as La Bichota, who indicated that his presentation in Viña del Mar was the last before the break that will start.

He wants to study music and production, which was something he discovered he liked to learn during the three tours he did last year; He indicated that he also discovered talents of his that he wants to continue working on. His goal is to continue developing as a musician, not just as a singer, to give “better things” to his audience.

“I would love it, I have plans this year, like traveling to different countries, make music from the culture of other countries; to know (…) other cultures, other ways of thinking, so many things that enrich one… that I think that this pause that I am going to take is going to be very positive. The next album definitely. It’s going to be a very experimental album. for me, in many ways, and that gives me a lot of emotion,” said the singer who recently recorded a song with her compatriot, Shakira.
