As residents affected by the previous explosion on Fernando Bermúdez street in the Bella Vista sector, in the southwestern part of the city, they complained that after several weeks Coraasan has not fulfilled its promise to resolve the damage to their homes and cars.
The new explosion of another pipe caused extensive damage and left other sectors of the southern area of Santiago without drinking water service.

On his side, Cristóbal Ortega, administrator of the La Fuente hotel, denounced that the water shot through the pipe with great pressure, destroyed part of the facilities.
He revealed that the event began after midnight and it was not until 5:00 in the morning on Thursday that it exploded, destroying the entire electrical part, where the water reached the second level of the building.
According to those affected, the pipe exploded during the early hours of the morning on Amado Franco Bidó street in the aforementioned demarcation, flooding six homes and causing material damage in each of them.
