The Instagram story was taken up by the reporter Laura Brugés who uploaded the moment in which Rodríguez Cantú tells the anecdote.

Mariana Rodríguez and Samuel García have published on their networks various aspects of the rapprochement with Elon Musk, even before the announcement of confirmation of the million-dollar investment in the state of Nuevo León in the municipality of Santa Catarina.

Although since the end of February President López Obrador announced that he would have a call with Elon Musk for details and that the arrival of a Tesla car manufacturing plant could be fine-tuned, it was this Tuesday, February 28, when it was confirmed that it would be in Nuevo León its installation.

The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, attended the Austin plant on Wednesday, March 1, for Investor Day, where the businessman made the official announcement of investment plans in Mexico.

Samuel García asserted this Thursday, March 2, that Tesla may finish building its new plant in Mexico this 2023, thus setting a record time.

“What we know today is that this plant, because they want to come and make an announcement in the laying of the first stone in the following weeks, is that it will be the largest plant, not only for Tesla but in the entire world,” said the governor in an interview with Radio Formula.
