A total of 458 panelas of marijuana were seized on the coast of Falcón state, according to military sources.
The procedure was carried out by agents attached to the Bolivarian National Guard and the Bolivarian National Police.
At first, the officials boarded a vessel that allegedly capsized in the Las Bocainas sector, while sailing between the coasts of Aruba (Netherlands) and the Paraguaná Peninsula.
There, 258 panelas of marijuana with a weight of 143 kilos 875 grams were seized.
There was another procedure in the La Encrucijada, Las Bocainas and Las Ánimas de Cuica sectors, Falcón municipality (Pueblo Nuevo), Falcón state, where 200 marijuana wrappers were seized, weighing 112 kilos 850 grams.
The Public Ministry was notified of the joint operation.
