Crane collapses in El Bosque, three workers lost their lives

After a crane collapsed in a building under construction in the El Bosque sector, in the township of Amelia Denis de Icaza in San Miguelito, three workers lost their lives, the authorities of the Public Ministry began investigations.
The first two deaths were reported at the time of the accident around 4:30 pm and at 6:00 pm they reported the death of another worker in the hospital.

In this accident, other workers were injured, according to Lieutenant Colonel Luis Ángel Jaramillo, director of Extinction, Search and Rescue Operations (Exbure) of the Panama Fire Department.

He indicated that they were transferred to different medical centers and that they had fractures in their arms and legs.

After the accident, the Public Ministry reported that the San Miguelito Regional Prosecutor’s Office, through the Homicide and Femicide Section, began investigations into this case.
