The president of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, Estela Carlotto, was recognized on Thursday at the Club Unione e Benevolenza for her fight and promotion of human rights in Argentina and the world.
The commemoration was held in the oldest Italian association in Buenos Aires, located at 1300 Perón Street, which is dedicated to cultural, social and recreational activities.
The director of the Italian Legal Circle, Miguel Goluccio, participated in the recognition, together with groups of human rights activists, promoters of the search for grandsons and granddaughters and of trials of genocides in Italy, informed Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo.
