The Minister of Government spokesperson, Camila Vallejo, addressed the announcements made by the Executive regarding the social aid committed to citizens, which has been affected by the rise in the cost of living as a result of various reasons, both national and international. global.
In this line, the possibility of a new withdrawal of funds from the pension insurers has reappeared, as it happened on three occasions in previous years. For the Secretary of State, there is no reason to justify the measure.
“There is no reason to advance in a sixth withdrawal, we already promoted and the self-loan was rejected, and now we have the same position as the Government,” Vallejo assured.
“We did not present the financial aid package now, but rather at the beginning of January, because we knew that the first quarter of 2023 would continue to be difficult, particularly for the most vulnerable families, those who do not even have funds to opt for a retirement” , complemented the spokeswoman.
In view of the foregoing, the Secretary of State ruled that the government expects “that at the beginning of the second quarter we will go to one digit in inflation, so we cannot boycott what we have achieved in economic matters.”
