An official from the Miranda state police died after being injured during a confrontation that occurred early Tuesday morning in Distributor Quemaíto, Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway, Miranda, according to reports.
The confrontation took place between the uniformed men and members of criminal groups that lurked during the early morning. There, officer Eduardo Rodríguez (29) was wounded by a shot to the head.
First of all, Rodríguez was transferred to a clinical center located in Guatire, from where he was referred to the Domingo Luciani hospital, where he died this Tuesday morning.
Security organizations deployed an operation through Guatire and neighboring sectors to locate the criminals who perpetrated the attack.
