The member of Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Melanio Paredes, urged the population to be resilient in the current situation and wait a while longer, because Margarita Cedeno she will become the next President of the Dominican Republic.
He said that even though the administration of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has plunged the Dominican people into despair and frustration, the former President of the Republic represents the sure way to put an end to this situation.
He pointed out that in decades the middle class and the sectors of minors income financial institutions were not going through such a dire situation, with a level of inflation historical, “without the government authorities doing anything to deal with it successfully”.

Paredes issued these considerations during the speech which he delivered at an act in which he announced his public support for Cedeño’s presidential aspirations.
“The return of PLD to power it becomes, as the days go by, like an unappealable crusade in order to stop the growing deterioration in the living conditions of Dominican men and women; recover equitable progress and well-being, it is a difficult task, but not impossible”, he said.
He said that among the applicants pedeistas Cedeño should be chosen, “because among the good, the safe is the best, and Margarita is the safe.”

Cedeño thanked the support offered by his partner in the political group, emphasizing that the purpose that truly drives him in pursuit of the Presidency of the Republic lies in serving his people with dedication, dedication to service and honesty.
He said that he knows perfectly well what needs to be done so that collective well-being returns to the Dominican Republic.
